Shiny Glass Creations

I make fused glass items by layering glass and fusing the layers together in my digitally controlled kiln. I use a conservative schedule, allowing a lengthy soak in the kiln to ensure that the glass is properly annealed. This makes it strong and durable (though not indestructible).

I then finish the item by attaching it to a finding, such as earring posts, a pendant bail or shaped wire. Sometimes I grind a groove around the glass in order to wire-wrap it. Other times, I use industrial strength adhesive to attach it.

These are just what I've made so far. I have ideas for many other things to make, I just need time to get to them! Check back often to see what's new!

Enough explaining, time to check out the pictures! You can see them all as a slideshow by category below (click on picture to enlarge).

My earrings use surgical stainless steel posts or wires. For those with metal allergies, I also have titanium or plastic findings available.

I make a variety of pendants. I use both basic and advanced techniques to get the look I want. I'm still experimenting and trying new techniques, so let me know what you'd like me to try!

Craft Show Products

I mainly focus on fused glass jewellery on Etsy due to shipping issues, but for craft shows I can do larger, fun and funky things. I make trinket dishes, candleholders, nightlights, tie gems, hair accessories, MagnAliens, and seasonal items.
